Well worth the climb.. I have heard of this lake before so was very pleased with seeing it .. If you look to the left of the mountain you can get a climps of Tasman Glazier and there is some 'icebergs' floating in the lake .. I have seen photo's where they were quite large but I guess summer 'shrinks' them .. still a fantastic sight ..
