Last week on the News magazine program it was reported that our little town ( population 9,000) had an unusual number of twins attending the local Colleges (16 sets.) So a local photographer made a call out for all 'Twins' in town to come together today at the local park for a photo shoot.. 48 sets turned up ranging in age from in utero .. two weeks old to 50 plus and everthing in between.... It did take a bit to get them organised all in the one spot one little guy kept on escaping... thats Mum that was just returning him to his spot.. the TV crew were busy .. as was the drone photographer and Aliah did very well to get them all organised ...
That must have taken some organising, it does sound like a lot of twins for a small town!
When my daughter was 18 months she was the flower girl at my brothers wedding. She wouldn't stand in the photo but was happy to run through it. So the photographer tried several times to capture her "running past" the wedding group.
What a wonderful experience for all :) One year I taught 5 sets of twins and 1 of triplets at pre-school. I must look for the photo as the local newspaper came and did an article too!
Nice capture, it looks hard work to get everyone in line!!. My mam was a fraternal twin, she lived till she was 90 and her sister was 93. My brother married my sister in law and tried to insure against twin births but was unable as both her parents were twins and her mother’s brothers were !!
@craftymeg I use to deliver meals on wheels to a lady who is 108 her twin died at 103.. she is now in a rest home.. but an amazing lady always interested in whats going on..
