We visited the Ohira Bay Basalt Column's .. The bus had to park at the top of the hill ( after going cross country for some distance) .. and then the team piled out to get down to a sheltered spot to have lunch .. Priority was to get the elderly couple safely down the hill and they looked so cute sitting there taking in the view.. next came out lunch.. and what a lunch.. the rocks made perfect stools to enjoy our lunch .. It was also pretty cute when we realized that fellow traveller Santi and little Pippi were wearing matching coats...
A lovely lot of images - we certainly had a variety of places to picnic and this was one of the best. It's so great to go away on holiday and have all meals catered for - makes for a good break away from the kitchen! Pippi and Santi look good in their matching coats.
@maggiemae Just one slip up .. took the thermos' ( in the beer crate) but forgot to take the cups this day .. lucky we were all supplied with a really flash water bottle.. @happypat
