We have a heard of Pedirgree Holstein Freisian cows and the other day in the HF Magazine was and invitation to take photo's of the herd and send it in and it may be selected to be used on the office window of the Head office .. So FG put the girls in a good paddock with a view this morning so I went out before sunrise so that I was 'onsite' for when the best light appeared...
Well it was a bit like herding cats ( and kids) .. but eventually they stood still and behaved .. #65 seemed keen to be the star .. ( on the left) so I will be sending this shot in ... and maybe another couple ..
Lucky girls Julz, a lovely field to spend time in & they have the whole summer before them! I hope the magazine likes you photo, they would be silly not to! Fave if course from us!
Btw Harry says proper cows...we aren’t too keen on the usual NZ variety though of course very suitable for your farming ways. HF or Jersey more usual here in the UK!
