Another shot from the visit to the Winter Garden in Auckland Domain the other day .. There are two glass houses one planted up with flowering annuals and bulbs and the other is very warm planted up with tropical plants .. Your camera and glasses tend to fog up in that one at times.. The flower one is my favourite .. The tulips were looking stunning as were the cineraria's ..
@merrelyn it is in the grounds of the Auckland Museum.. near Auckland Hospital .. are you staying in the City CBD or airport side.. if city there are Hop on Hop off city bus tours so could be an option for you.. Museum always worth a look..
@julzmaioro We’re staying city side. The thought of a 5.30 am arrival from Perth and an 8.30pm departure to Vancouver on the same day didn’t appeal, so we fly the next night. We’ve got 5 nights on the way home so we’ve hired a car for that and will probably to the Bay of Islands.
@merrelyn Good call ... check out the hop on hop off buses I am sure you could get to the Museum/ winter gardens .. Bay of Island would be a good option for the return ..
