A friend gave us some beef shin so thought I had best make a casserole before the weather gets too hot to enjoy it.. as it turned out today has been a beaut warm late spring day but still enjoyed it and may be enough for a pie tomorrow night.. if I can hide it from the farmers tomorrow for lunch ..
