The 'Girls' are having a final graze on the Home farm pastures as tomorrow they are off on a 3k walk around the road to our other block. Along with the cows Henry the Goat will also be going.. (unless he decides not to).. Henry is the neighbours goat that has decided to live at our place and hang out with our girls, he comes into the milking shed gets a pat from FG & FB and the off with the girls to the paddock .
You can see him in the photo just left of centre.
@maggiemae .. Not usually this green this time of year.. But need to rest and grow the pasture before the girls calve and start the new season mid June.. The cows will come back in small lots as the get closer to their due time.
What a gorgeous farm scene - the lighting on the grass is really nice. Hopefully Henry will decide to head off with the girls too, otherwise he might get bored and head for your garden!
Ha ha had to laugh at Henry! You might remember our Henry who was a sheep & did exactly the same as your Henry coming in with the girls at milking time! He will miss his pats if he’s away to the run off. Lush grass there!
