Shifting fences..

I went with FG yesterday arvo to check on the young stock at our 'Runoff' block. But I stayed up the top of the hill while he shifted the fence to give the heifers another slice of fresh grass.. The girls are very keen to get to the juicy grass.. and you can see FG walking back laying the next break down.

Love this….I have moved fencers so many times over the years…..can still smell the fresh grass as the cows move into it. Great view from the top!

I love the pov. I had no idea you had to move the fences. They do that when they bring the goats in to “mow” our open spaces for fire suppression.

@shutterbug49 it is more when there is lots of grass so the stock don't trample it all down and waste the grass..
