my get pushed challenge this week is to portray 'contradiciton'
whilst in town today I photographed the school bus stopped before us at an intersection, some of the silhouettes of the children really grabbed me when I looked at them at home, and I made a composite of these as a collage.
in the online miriam webster dictionary contradiction is defined as
a : a proposition, statement, or phrase that asserts or implies both the truth and falsity of something ( they are shots of the same bus at the same time, but as a collage, it is not really how the bus looked)
or alternatively
b : logical incongruity. ( the disparity between the reflections and the view through the bus, and the splicing of the pieces)
am I stretching it? probably!
I had another pic that more obviously showed contradiction but I didn't think it was as visually good as this one.
