pickled eggs

I made these pickled eggs when we had a glut, can't bring myself to eat one as they look so damn unappetising, but I thought they might make a good subject to practice a low-key shot with.

This is cool. I didn't read the description first so I was trying to figure out what might be in the jar. I don't think I could bring myself to eat one either. They do make for a great low key shot though!

Great shot. I like how they are emerging into the light - "eat me". the red top is an eye catcher. They do look somewhat unreal which gives them the spooky look.

Great low key shot. Pickled eggs get to me. The only way I can eat them is to dice them and place them on a garden salad.
