THis was taken back in February but I only just converted it to black and white for my set of six entry into our club competition.
12daysofbshots is coming in handy as I feel a bit flat at the moment.
@mzzhope they are all different shades of orange! apparently this particular species is only found along our coast here, they are large, about the size of your hand
@kali66 thank you Kali! They are so unique and an important species too.I love your processing,I think the choice of black and white is spot on for the competition,I am just a nature nut and had to know more about them.I am going to the California Coast in January and can not wait to photograph sea and marine life! :)
This looks fabulous large, there's s much detail which could be missed.
Thank you for my challenge, I must say it is really making me think! I've really enjoyed looking through your album, you have mastered some great techniques. This week I'm going to set you a challenge I set @riverlandphotos a couple of weeks ago and I think she really enjoyed it. The challenge is to take a photo with a red balloon as part of the picture. You can choose how to do it - full colour, selective colour or maybe a composite. Enjoy :)
