@runner365 i came across him on youtube just after i posted this photo! a rediscovery, a boyfriend listened to him a lot back when i was at uni, i started on koln concert and initially linked that, but this one had a melodic phrasing i preferred, i think its the homogeny of the instrument, yet the variety in the wandering improvisations that i liken to the motion and sound of the sea, with its infinite variation on a theme.
I think I need to relisten to some of the older Jarrett.
