I've seen this traffic mirror on Thames Street in Bristol a number of times and always thought it would make an interesting photo, but the conditions were never quite right to pull it off. Today they were. The sun was hitting the white mill complex - now a condo - just right, and the sky behind the mill was a beautiful blend of blue sky and soft white clouds. There was even a parking spot right under the mirror! This definitely falls in the "fun but not overly creative" category since it's been done countless times by countless people. Still, I really like the effect of shooting a convex traffic mirror. Even better, this one was positioned such that I didn't end up in the scene.
Very little was done in post processing. I ran it through a detail light filter in Topaz Adjust, and then adjusted the levels slightly in PSE. Nothing else needed adjustment.
