I was extremely pressed for time today, and I ended up having to go with a quick "safety shot." I'm not much for leaf peeping, so in taking a foliage shot today I wanted to present it somewhat differently. The really narrow depth of field and the almost edge-on presentation accomplished that. It's definitely not an angle you're likely to encounter in many photos. Then again, I'm not the typical New Englander when it comes to leaf peeping.
Post processing started with a detail light filter in Topaz Adjust. I then adjusted the adaptive exposure, contrast, strength, and detail boost sliders. I added a levels adjustment in PSE.
