The azaleas my mom planted in 1971 are in full bloom, thanks to a week of real spring-like weather. I was hoping to photograph some pollination action, but there wasn't a bee in sight. The lilacs are starting to bloom, though, and those typically draw them so hopefully in a week or so I'll be able to show some insect life on the flowers.
Post processing started with a warm tone I filter in Topaz Adjust. I then adjusted adaptive exposure, regions, contrast, and protect highlights. A levels adjustment was added in PSE.
