New Urban Farmers is a non-profit organization engaged in creating sustainable agricultural opportunities in Pawtucket, Central Falls, and Providence. They have several inner-city community gardens that for the last several years have provided opportunity, education, and healthy home-grown food to low-income neighborhoods. In today's photo, a group of New Urban Farmers volunteers are setting up a corn roasting stand along the Providence waterfront. (If you've never tried roasted corn, you're really missing out on an amazing healthy treat. The stuff is delicious.) They plan to participate in many of the outdoor Farmers Markets in the area throughout the summer and fall season.
Post processing today started with a brilliant cold filter in Topaz Adjust. I adjusted adaptive exposure, regions, and contrast. A levels adjustment was added in PSE.
