Helping Hand

We got another 5 inches or so of snow this morning. The snow was interspersed with periods of rain, so the accumulation was less than it would have otherwise been, and it was extremely heavy. I wandered the neighborhood looking for photo opportunities and came across this scene. The driver couldn't get any traction on the ice in her driveway, and I managed to get the photo as she got a helping hand from a neighbor.
Post processing started with a detail light filter in Topaz Adjust. I adjusted adaptive exposure and contrast. From there I brought the image into Topaz B&W FX and applied a classic filter. I then adjusted color sensitivity sliders, adaptive exposure, regions, contrast, boost black, and protect highlights. A levels adjustment was added in PSE.
Great capture Ron, hope the car could drive again!
