Our Sunday Brunch Meetup Group went to the 1149 Restaurant in East Greenwich for brunch today. I took the opportunity to stop at Goddard State Park after brunch for today's photo. There were surprisingly very few people at the beach area. I found this interesting background near the concession stands - still closed for the season - and waited for someone to enter the scene. With a cold wind coming off the water, it felt like I waited forever. Eventually, this yellow lab lead her human down the steps in search of some sunlight and I was able to grab the photograph I sought.

Post processing started with a classic filter in Topaz B&W FX. I adjusted color sensitivity sliders, adaptive exposure, regions, contrast, and protect highlights. A levels adjustment was added in PSE.
