Just Cruisin'

I really had nothing specific in mind when I set out at lunch for today's photo. Driving down Veteran's Parkway, though, I noticed a lot of activity on the bike path, so on a whim I stopped there for my photo. There is a stretch where the bike path crosses the river on a very narrow old rail bed, so I was hoping for a photo with the water in the background. Unfortunately, all that activity on the bike path seemed to dry up as soon as I parked my car. (That's "pahked muh cah" if you want to pronounce it like a true Rhode Islander.) Anyway, I stood at my selected location for what seemed like an eternity without any activity at all on the path. Finally, I walked to this spot which give me some opportunities from several approaches. Again, I waited an eternity before this gentleman came cruising down the hill. Nothing glamorous about the photo, but at that point, I was ready to photograph anything just so I could get back and have lunch!
Post processing started with a classic filter in Topaz B&W FX. I adjusted color sensitivity sliders, adaptive exposure, regions, contrast, boost black, and boost white. A levels adjustment was added in PSE.
