Rainy Day Swans

Rain was the order of the day. It was pouring when I went out at lunch for today's photo, so I just headed over to Haines Point knowing there would be something in very close proximity to my car. I liked this scene with two mute swans lazily feeding off the reeds in the water. It was a very low tide today, and a number of normally hidden underwater obstructions were visible. Knowing they are there must make navigating this cove rather interesting.
Post processing started with a classic filter in Topaz B&W FX. I adjusted color sensitivity sliders, adaptive exposure, regions, contrast, boost black, boost white, and protect highlights. A levels adjustment was added in PSE.
