This is straight from the camera and I apologize for the yellow tone. This is a plant my dad received as a gift. He thinks it's in the orchid family. I just like its delicate white blooms. He keeps it next to the kitchen sink where it's doing well. I enjoy looking at it when I visit my parents.
September 2015 - I dropped my Nikon L22 at the arboretum (on asphalt!) and it's definitely broken. :(
October 2014- finally reached 365 photographs and it...
Orchids are such beautiful plants. I have had no luck trying to grow them.
To prevent the yellow tone you can try setting your camera's white balance to tungsten (usually depicted as a lightbulb), some cameras call it irreverent. It gives a more blue grey colour, a cold effect rather than a warm one.
Dear Elyse, it's very nice that you like my cat shots. If Kalle was awake, he'd send you a cat kiss. As to orchids, I think they're the cats among
flowers. Be seeing you!
