Purple Beanie Baby commemorates Princess Diana

I'm not the closest follower of the British Royal Family. Prince Charles and Lady Diana were married the summer before my second year of high school. My classmates and I were fascinated by them and their wedding- it was part fairy tale, part ceremony and tradition. We were sad when they divorced but she continued her charitable work and public life. She was an inspiration to me.

The Beanie was a gift from a close friend.
