The Aon Center

The Aon Center was built in 1974 as the Standard Oil building. It’s one of the tallest buildings in the United States. This is looking eastward- I thought it looked neat with the sky.

Yup, I thought I recognized that building! @Taffy and I used to work with a publisher in the next building and one of our favorite things was that sometimes they'd take us for a meal in one of the restaurants up high.

It's a great capture of this building, coming in from the lower left the way you've framed it. Junko's right on how much we liked being able to watch Millennium Park being built from up high...that's how long ago it was...
