Small Town Security

Many of the interior shots in my project are from my "hovel", a beautiful, centuries old home. I hope that the light is as kind to me as it is to this place when I'm ancient!

Careful, who knows what is on the other side of that door :)

Nice shot. The depth of field and focus on the door knob is good.

Do you process your images or are they straight out of camera (sooc)?

Hovel? I thought it was the waiting room. There is nothing like New England old. Nothing like that in CO.

@danielwsc Thanks Daniel! I most often have to use PicMonkey to edit pics to get them to look as I saw them. The original shot was washed out a bit but have uploaded for you to see.

@mozie thanks, Tiny!

@nedite It depends on my mood, i guess :) Hovel is just such a good word! Nothing like new england for old homes and the Yankees who live in 'em!

Great shot, especially with the title. You'd be wanting an intimidating dog with security like that on your doors.

Just think, at one time this doorknob was brand-new and someone admired it for its newness.

@embarkr very cool point about the newness, Matt, I hadn't thought of that. Thanks!!
