The Way Through by kevin365

The Way Through

In the trembling hands of midnight,
straddling what was and what will be,
I walk.
A halting step but eager with anticipation.

Under the watchful moon,
the shadows guide my feet and the evening air
envelopes me and accepts me as its own.

This is the path I have taken.
To be taken a million times, a billion times
until I reach my destination.

That is a SUPER moon! I love the poem. Nothing like a walk in the moonlight!
