Clinger would do no more than open his eyes when I was photographing him today. I think he was kept so warm in his little huddle that he felt that uncurling for my daily inspection was a waste of time :)

So much like my resident koala on the farm! Just love everything about koalas. Thanks for the follow and I'll definitely follow you back with all these great shots :)
@gilbertwood I'm on the Far North Coast of NSW. I have 14 acres in the middle of a natural koala corridor and I am regenerating the habitat.
Most days I have a couple of koalas in residence, Clinger, the one in this photo as been on the property since mid December, while at least 14 other different koalas have been coming and going.
I'm SO lucky :)
@koalagardens You are soooo lucky! I had one resident who had a baby each year (3 years) The other visitors were growling males who only stayed overnight :)
@gilbertwood@skippysue thanks for the comments, they are amazing animals
Denise I'm working hard every day to identify each koala coming here, and have had some wonderful mums and joeys, but they often pass through quickly so are harder to collect good information on
It's fulfilling to watch the habitat regenerate, and I have funding this year to really work on this regeneration, so exciting!
lovely shot, must be very interesting watching and learning about the different Koalas. amazing how clinger seems so comfortable on those small branches
@oldjosh it is a very healing process for the soul watching the land regenerate and the koalas and their movements each day :
I agree, Clinger has been the perfect name for him!
