wind break by koalagardens

wind break

It isn't so apparent in this shot but it was very windy when I took this photo. I was having to kind of try to time the shots to be when gusts were easing off.
So good to see Greta back!
Thank you all for the many comments on the last days posts, I read and appreciate every one.
Greta has her back to the wind and a good grip on this young tree. If you are wondering, yes that must have been a tick on her face that recently dropped off. She seems to be in wonderful health and it was so good to see her willing to come back here after her release to wild from care.
So marvellous that Greta feels safe to stay with you after her captivity and med. treatment She certainly knows how to turn her back on the wind !

Neat shot despite the winds :)

Well she's grasping that branch pretty tight so I'm sure she has it all under control - wind or no wind!

she seems happy to be home. Are the ticks around your way poisonous?

@cruiser yes we have Ixodes Holocyclus - the paralysis tick as well as a range of non-poisonous cattle ticks
because the koala is a native host for the paralysis tick however, they don't have any ill effect from them unless they get covered in them and become anaemic
I hate them though, I get big swellings that are terribly sore for many days!
