the butcher bird

FoR pos/neg space to emphasise shape - same subject. So for 6 days you are going to get not a koala in this series (yes shocking isn't it???) but Jaxon the butcher bird. This is such a new process for me - to work on this concept. This is my first attempt, so critique will help me work through the week to develop some skills (I hope!) Koalas will go back to colour this week :) thank you for the awesome comments and questions on my photos.

@beryl I'm trying to stick to both sides of the theme, but then as Ann says it is meant to be fun, so I'm not going to stress out either! but if I can manage 6 shots of Jaxon with pos/neg space I'm going to be quite pleased with myself :)

Wow really like this - so much to like from shot to the edit. I am trying to do this challenge but I am not sure I am doing it right - concentrating on seeing b&w (so out of my comfort zone) I forget about the negative space. Your images have been awesome even though I miss my daily koala fix lol
