Luca has spent most of the week here, so I'm hoping she will hang about and maybe become part of the colony. I'm sure she is appreciating the plentiful food as where she was at rescue there was no food tree within 100 metres in any direction.
You will notice her ear tag is in the right ear. All the other koalas you have seen here with tags were tagged in the left ear because they were all males. So an easy visual is that if the tag is in the left it's a male.
Sorry for the bad pun, but the way we say it is the reason for this is that "girls are always right".
