By dispersion I presume you mean that the younger koalas without a territory of their own head off to make their own way in the world?

@terryliv yes this happens every year from July - Nov, but the peak of that is Aug - Oct. These are the juveniles so around 2 years old. Breeding season is starting too, so everything is getting hectic for koalas. Sadly it is therefore the peak time for car hits and dog attacks with so many inexperienced koalas on the move and males getting testosterone fuelled...🐨
