Beautiful portrait! You finish school quite late, we were done June 4th and I was told that was late. Does your daughter start high school in the fall?
@sianipops My daughter will go to the "big" high school next year. It's grades 9-12. School goes right up until the end of June and then starts the Tuesday after Labour Day in September.
@kwind sounds like they have a little less time off than we do. My middle one will start high school too come the last week of August. So I will have 2 in the same school and 1 still in elementary. Thankfully both high schoolers are choosing the same school and swim so some streamlining of my taxi service :) Good luck to your daughter, after she enjoys her summer, as she starts high school.
Beautiful portrait. I always thought she was younger, seeing her goofing around with her brother. Now with her hair down like this, she looks like a highschooler.
Is she going to a high school next year, or is she in a 6-9 school? To me, going to high school from Jr. high (Or Middle School depending on what you call it) from Grade 8 to Grade 9 is a huge life changer. Just huge. She looks like she might feel the weight of that. So serious! She's a lovely lady!
