Happy Canada Day by kwind

Happy Canada Day

We went to the Canada Day Parade today and I got a shot of this guy. The background was very cluttered so I went for a high key look.
Very cool, apparently very difficult to ride as well (the bike, not the photo)

I like it high-key, it almost makes antique, which goes well with the subject.

Love it! I tried to get a shot but he moved too fast for me! The processing is great Kim, but I also really like how you've got the spectators framed in his front tire and the classic car behind him. Awesome. fav.

Wonderful shot, the high key definitely helps with the background issue but also gives it a nice old world feel.

@gigiflower was just similarly complaining about ppl in the background messing up the perfect shot. We should blow a really loud whistle that will stop the world for 2 minutes, allow us to quickly remove ppl, get our shot, blow the whistle again to restart the world. I'll have to tell the boy. I think my idea has been written about in a juvvie book series: Molly Moon!

Love this! Sorry for the ramble. Lack of sleep, I suppose! ;)

July 4th, 2015
Very cool! You sure don't see many of these around anymore. I always thought, though I have never ridden one was, if you lose your balance your are going to get hurt cause there is no way your going to get one of your legs on the ground fast enough to break your fall. Fav!
July 4th, 2015
