We did a tour with a private driver one night during our Paris stay. Sacre Coeur Basilica was the only stop of many where we were able to get out and see inside. I had no idea the church would be open and was thrilled to venture inside. The place was virtually empty and alter area lit so well to highlight its beauty.
Great capture of the beautiful architecture and decorations.
(The rich construction and decorations in our country were one of the reasons that during the Reformation (Image storm) period many churches were stripped of these and painted white.)
