It was a public holiday here today, so we went walking in the mountains. I am increasingly thinking that photography and dog walking are incompatible. Just before this photo was taken, I was lying on my back, precariously positioned above the stream, with an expensive camera in my right hand and a struggling half-drowned spaniel in the left. Fortunately Jasper got out of the stream, only to be attacked by a herd of feral goats on the way home. I took several good photos today, but I think this one best encapsulates the feel of the place.
Poor Jasper had himself quite a day!
