I stayed overnight in the 13th district of Paris, home to Chinatown. It's a hard-working, busy area of supermarkets, restaurants and shops of various oriental nationalities. Exotic but not very chichi, until this auburn-haired oriental lady rushed out of a building right in front of me, pulling on her fur coat.
