Our village hall hosted an exhibition to commemorate the Armistice, which included, amongst other things, the official notices reporting the deaths of each man from the village who died, and copies of the the accompanying letters from their officers. Outside there were some WW2-era vehicles, including this military ambulance.
Appropriately, the lights in the building window almost look like the Cross of Lorraine.
