Today is my due date, and while the day has come and now almost gone, no sign of Baby. So I took the opportunity to have a peaceful bubble bath while I still can.
I've been obsessed with bubble baths throughout the second half of my pregnancy, but recently read some random thing online claiming that pregnant women should not have baths in water warmer than 98 farenheit (which is much too cold for a bath in my opinion). So of course I panicked and asked my doctor who assured me that hot baths are fine. Good.
Hope everyone is doing well. Thank you for your recent views and comments which are always appreciated :)
Love your cute photo ... and you are so close to the end and ready to go onto the next phase. Hey! You may be in the hospital right now as I'm typing this! Don't worry about the baths, I took them and my daughters were, and are, both normal and healthy. Best of luck, Lauren. Let us know, when you can, all about the new member in your family.
I can picture Ernie from Sesame Street now...rubber ducky, you're the one...who makes bathtime, so much fun.... :) You'll be singing it to your little one, very soon!
Adorable composition, Lauren! If you disappear for a while, we'll know why, yes? And, we'll have a new subject to see very soon! You take care of yourself!
I heard that too when my friend was pregnant, but I had hot baths through my whole pregnancy (having not known that at the time) and everything was find:) Fingers crossed for an easy L&D for you!
the waiting game continues! Time for lots of raspberry tea and bumpy car rides! My youngest was exactly 2 weeks late...torturous.
Good luck Lauren...we're routing for you!
@shutterbugger 2 weeks late???! OMG that would be soooooo torturous. i find that right now a day feels like a week, so i can't imagine waiting that long! ps. i'm sitting bouncing on my yoga ball as i type this lol but yep maybe it's time for the raspberry tea haha
@laurentye miraculous typing skills while bouncing, I must say! They say that sex is a good inducer. I don't know about you, but sitting around in big comfy clothes sipping tea was more appealing at this stage of the game ;)
@shutterbugger haha that made me laugh. yes to sitting around in big comfy clothes sipping tea! that at least doesn't require near impossible acrobatic skills :)
Good luck Lauren...we're routing for you!
