This was our first stop for the day....The Newnes Hotel at Newnes.....an old oil shale mining town, which is located in the Wolgan Valley in NSW. I'm sure this place would have been a hive of activity back in the day! Apparently it was physically moved to its current location in 1987 by volunteers due to flooding undermining the building's structure.
