Old Roadhouse

Well, at least that's what I think it is/was....perhaps a business of some description. I went for a long drive today and came across this old building very close to the side of the road, just on the outskirts of a town. At first I thought it was an old house, but the 3 openings at the front put me off that idea....Houses just didn't have windows that big back then, so I think they are all doorways. I would love to know what it was, but it will probably be one of life's mysteries that I'll never know!

I think it may of been an old post office and school. I think it was built from convict bricks.My old family home looks very much like this. I'll post a photo of it tomorrow in family album.

Sorry, I mean my old family home was built along very similar styles up past Tamworth. And I just went to post the photo from my husband's iPad but he has deleted it.:( So I'll have to check through the home computer another day and find a photo. )
