Bailey's Garage by leggzy

Bailey's Garage

My husband's father used to work here in the late 1940's to early 60's, until they moved to Sydney. I think the building still pretty much looks the same, besides being kept in fresh paint. Back then, it was also the Holden dealership in the town - perhaps that's where his love of Holden's comes from.
Reminds me of retro 50's! Great lines!

Lovely looking building. So nice that it's still being looked after, after all these years :)

What fabulous colours - reminds me of the 50's very much.
(Haven't heard about the lens yet - I have no idea how it could get damaged inside either!)

It still looks well looked after with a fresh lick of paint.

It has that sense of stepping back in time about it. Lovely to see it being maintained and not pulled down.
