I timed my morning walk around the showers fairly well. One thing about Shetland is that you can see the weather coming so was able to shelter at the now closed Orca Country Inn when a ten minute heavy shower passed through. Despite the wind and rain there were a lot of birds about and it would seem that the Autumn migration may have started with good numbers of flycathcers reported.
