50 years ago this is what all Swinister would have been apart from the new house at the back. Nowadays there are around 40 new houses to the left of this photo with plans approved for two more and applications in for another two. The old south road into the village would have come past the old ruin in the top left. Once you become aware of this some of the other housing in this area makes sense.
