Many of you may be aware that a bomb placed in an RV exploded on Christmas day in downtown Nashville TN. It is believed the target was the AT&T database center, although numerous buildings were damaged. (This was my office building for more than 10 years). There were no serious injuries because it happened at 6 AM. Also the bomber fired gun shots in the air before setting it off so police were already on the way. And there was an automated message blaring to warn anyone who could hear to evacuate the area. It's all very strange. I had no cell phone or landline service until today. And no desktop computer so my posting and commenting will be less for a while. As one newsman said "just when we thought 2020 was almost over....."
Oh my... so unbelievable and so sorry to hear this happened. We sure live in a crazy world. Praying that the communications systems get repaired quickly and they bring to justice the perpetrator(s). Hang in there Lin!
I'd heard the headlines and thought how shocking this was....So sorry to read this as it must be even more upsetting when it's a place which means something to you personally.
Didn’t even occur to me how close this was to you! I’m so glad you were not employed in that office anymore! Also glad you were not in the area at the time.
