We have pumpkins at Haloween - the 31st October, and they are carved into faces and a candle put inside. Do you have this tradition in the US?

@suesouthwood Yes, I can remember when I was young my dad would carve one a few days before Halloween. Now I think most people use the fake pumpkins that light up with batteries...not as awesome, but safer, I guess.
