Stump #6323

There's an area by the Lincoln Shields Recreation area (West Alton, MO)... I guess it's a lake, probably backfed by the Mississippi River during floods.... Anyway, there's a large area that appears to be a former forest. I'm presuming this lake/pond was formed when the Lock & Dam was installed in Alton, 25+ years ago... This is one of dozens...

Really interesting. Trees live a long time in water, I would think this is a very nice kid submerged stump. I like the textures!
