Hang in there by ludwigsdiana

Hang in there

it is almost weekend. I had fun watching this masked weaver trying to distract me from it's nest yesterday. I was amazed that those thorns did not stop him from his antics, It looks like one behind his beak. Pity he went lower and I clipped the wing and tail. The sky was really this blue, I did not change it.
Wow the thorns look lethal. Not the brightest decision to build a nest there is it.

Lovely detail. For a small bird it has some serious talons.

Love how you caught the bird in mid flight. I can see why you are amazed. You would think it would get stabbed or blinded by those lethal looking thorns.

That he's not fully in the picture captures his movement. The sky is really amazing- but I know it can even get that bright here. Good shot!

I noticed that strong blue color of the sky right off! The Weaver makes a beautiful contrast against it!

@onewing There is a reason they all build in the fever tree Babs, no cat can climb it ;-)
