Lovely. Remind me, do they put roses at the ends of the vines to protect the vines from insect attack, in that the insects would attack the rose first? Or is that just hearsay?

@corinnec I think all vineyards in the world have a similar warning system. Roses are planted as as early warning system for the winegrower. They attract harmful insects first and they will get fungal diseases before the vines do. I just copied what Sally wrote ;-)
