Winter Trees by lynbonn

Winter Trees

No winter lasts forever, no spring skips its turn. Hal Borland

I was challenged to capture a landscape using my Lensball. These trees are quite beautiful in the spring, summer, and fall. They look a bit grotesque in the winter.
@robz Here is another for the challenge.

Lovely view!

@jacqbb It seemed best to leave it upside down. It added to the dispair of the landscape

Hi Lynda -I love this - it is marvellous with such wonderful focus in the ball, and you are so right about the feeling of despair. I hope you don't mind if I make a comment about what this image makes me want to do? I don't even know if it would be any good - but the crop of the ball at the bottom makes me want to crop the ball at the same level across the top - so that the dreary background is still there but the amazing focussed landscape has more prominence? Just a crazy idea and I hope you don't mind me mentioning it. This is a super response to the challenge! Cheers Rob

I know just how you feel about winter! Me too!
To further comment about what Rob says @robz - I might even consider cropping this square since the ball is round and would fit nicely square.

@robz I agree. Thank you for the critique. I really appreciate it. It helps to see your project through someone else's eyes. There is always room for improvement. See Dec 26 for an update. http://365project.org/lynbonn/365/2018-12-26
