Dead of Winter

We had a lot of clouds in the sky earlier today but by the time I was able to get out with my camera, they were either gone or lying low as you can see in this shot.

@mej2011 Thanks, Melissa. I tried it in B&W but thought the sky was way too gray and just didn't like the result...so color it is, at least for today. Thanks for the thought, though.

Color helps place the season. Seems like those blue, blue skies are most intense in winter. Great shot.
