We hiked up to St Mary's Glacier this morning, about 10 miles west of Georgetown, CO. I'm actually standing at the bottom of the glacier which feeds into this lake. This is a very popular hike and snowboarders can be seen on the glacier throughout the summer months. And, yes, we did have to walk through quite a bit of snow to get there as it's still very early in the season.
